Temperature estimation on Volcanic Area
Aim of this module is the satellite thermal monitoring of High Temperature Events (HTE), such as volcanic eruptions or forest fires, includes the (i) automatic detection of thermal anomalies (hotspot); (ii) the quantification of these anomalies via the estimation of the radiant heat flux. The module provides hotspot maps, radiant heat flux time series and maps and, in case of an eruption, an estimation of the effusion rate (Time-Averaged Discharge Rate TADR).
